Totally understand, but it's crystal clear they are also in no position to be lobbying for a World Expo bid. They're basically trying to rope in BTS and after their own cash grabs failed, make BTS and their company pay for it. Talk about setting them up to fail.

Then they should cancel it citing the typhoon as the reason. ARMY will be relieved because they never wanted this and so will HYBE/BTS because they obviously didn’t know how incompetent and corrupt the Busan officials are. BTS could be making bank holding a concert of their own. They were asked to do a favor and to expect them to pay is very unreasonable. Even the public would agree. You don’t demand more when asking for a favor.

It has been pretty obvious to ALL ARMY that BTS is being used by Busan. No one should foot the bill to be used and abused. HYBE and BTS look bad allowing this to happen. They should at least pull out if Busan refuses to cancel. The taxpayers are reaping the rewards from the concert. They will benefit from increased tourism. The City should 200% pay the expenses. BTS is performing for free. If the city can’t pay, they should cancel it. BTS isn’t impactful enough for SK to give them an exemption but SK expects them to pay for a concert that impacts SK (that BTS were pressured to participate in). Pure hypocrisy.
