the fact that you think Kim Taehyung, one of the most outsproken & carefree top idols, would fit in the strickt & manufactured SM is very funny

he would probably get more solo promotion since he would be the biggest idol in that company, but he would get held back by many other reasons

If V debuted under SM (which he can't let's be honest with those subpar vocals) he would be another pretty boy there and would have debuted under NCT. In BTS he is more noticeable because the rest of the members are not visually pleasing as him expect jungkook and jin maybe? So he did a good job debuting under hybe.

Plus that man has good chart footing on kcharts for his osts and great streams too, so a properly promoted solo will do wonders. He is in to acting, so he has a lots of potential.

Hybe is more strict, exo members have shaded sm multiple times. They're allowed to date publicly, collab with whoever they want, have a stable solo career with good promo.
