I heard Pink Venom early

    Don’t ask me how I got access to the song.


    The song is about 3 minutes long and is very middle eastern/trap inspired. Think of Lisa’s rap instrumentals in HYLT combined with DDDD. The song is insanely catchy and yg is really smart for making it the pre release single. The song keeps building up right until the final chorus which is very explosive. There’s a 30 second instrumental section which I’m assuming is for a dance break.


    I will be extremely surprised if it doesn’t smash on the charts.

    You’re right I’m not sure if the instrumental in the song comes from a korean instrument but there’s a clear middle eastern influence in the sound of the song.

    Hmmm that’s hard to say because HYLT and DDDD were both very polarizing. I would rank it above those two songs because it’s catchier and easier to listen to. I don’t think it will be as universally praised as lovesick girls but those who like HYLT&DDDD’s style will love it

    Pink venom definitely isn’t following any trends. It’s by no means boring, simple, or basic. The song is still very obviously Blackpink, I don’t see any other group being able to pull it off. Compared to HYLT I definitely think it won’t get as much hate buy the hate will definitely still be there because there are some pretty jarring transitions

    Idk what you listened but it was not Pink Venom. I heard the real leak and it's actually a song with raï influence where Jisoo show us she can outrap Eminem.
