Please take it with a grain of salt and not too seriously
I was watching Sky Castle and now I am watching Penthouse and I have to admit that I don’t like anything particular about this drama. There is so much to criticize that I don’t know where to start. I usually don’t care about plot holes but this drama has whole plot black holes. I am okay with some random parts without logic but I am at episode 5 and this drama has no fundamental logic except that they are all human beings living in SK. Seriously, this one women can literally walk into the most exclusive parties of SK while looking like some first grade teacher while everyone wears Gucci shit? I mean, it’s okay to go overboard for the sake of the plot but this plot is killing me. A plot twist once in a while is okay but the amount of plot twist is rather similar to Wattpad “I have a messy bun and my dad is a mob boss” fanfiction than a good drama. All in all, I like the acting (well if they are not screaming 24/7, guess that’s a new way to communicate apparently?) and I love the overall idea. Just the execution is so annoying. I like makjangs, I love drama but make it at least plausible. Also can someone explain this writer the idea behind keys and locks or overall security? I can’t believe that the most expensive building in SK or let’s say Asia has the protection of your local grocery store.
People who compare this to Sky Castle are seriously insulting Sky Castle.
