Yes, one-two whatever hit wonders are often like this. I'd even go as far as to say that a lot of the popular songs we have are bigger than the artists themselves. Call Me Maybe (Carly Rae Jepsen) is also one of them to have an example. As for k-pop, love scenario was one too as well as Pentagon's Shine. Rollin is obviously one too and many more. It's a bit hard to for an artists to be actually "bigger" than their biggest songs imo.

Ikon and Pentagon are pretty known in Korea. And yes even though Brave Girls Rollin is a HUGE HUGE hit, they are also pretty known by the public now and even getting even more fans as we go along. Even 'We Ride' and 'Chi Mat Ba Ram' did pretty well.

No, even with public recognition, these songs are more known by themselves. I was actually hesitate to put in Ikon but I think Last Scenario was a giant compared to them as time went on.

Like even if these acts are "popular" their hit songs will always be more popular unless they can reproduce that same level of success or have their names be MORE known than the songs which at this point I doubt it.
