Hybe came later than SM yet they’re outearning SM by 2,3 times. Hybe has BTS, but all their 4 recently debuted groups (Txt, Enhypen, NJ, Lsrfm) also do well and quickly become leaders of 4th gen. SM can’t get their groups from subsidiaries like Billlie to be successful yet Hybe groups from all subsidiaries become successful. SM used to do best in Japan yet now it’s all Hybe groups that do best there. Hybe stomps on SM when it comes to Spotify/global charting too. So how does Hybe catch up/surpass SM so quick even though they came much later?

billie isnt reallly from sm and hybe its just way to depend on bts, the stocks reports said it
their groups do well but its obv investors don't think that enough, txt/enhypen sales increase but they have kinda plateau if u see their charting internationally and we dont know how far the hype for just recent debuted groups will go
sm is in the same lane of a bg group that sell lots but dont chart and a gg that sell well
hybe just have bts...for now

For the longest time, all Hybe had was BTS so they had time to build a loyal (overobsessed?) fandom around one group.
It's very obvious that if hybe didn't have BTS they wouldn't be near as successful. That's why they're having such a hard time letting the members take breaks (which they desperately need and deserve), because their stock plummet each time any kind of break or enlistment talk surfaces.
SM has many groups and they don't capitalise on the groups successes or demand like hybe did/do with BTS. They get a following for a group and then drop them and move onto the next group expecting the fanbase to just continue with limited or no content.
Plus SM are stuck on the NCT concept and just any bg they launch is some other subsidiary of the NCT concept. It's getting to be sad at this point. They're not trying anything new or innovating when it comes to bg (which is where most of the fandom money comes from).

BTS and Hybe seems to have more solid US connection compared to other companies.
