Why are people only dragging snsd when other legends like exo and suju also underperform

    Not dragging them, their song is a massive bop and is #1 on my played list these days, but i'm disappointed af with their charting. I kept hearing how SNSD were all household names, that our 3rd and 4th gen faves couldnt come close to the general public support of the members, how they were all bigtime stars in music, tv, movies, ads, models, varieties, etc. I put my hopes on them to stop this Newbeans mess dead in their tracks.


    Now they're getting their lunch took by 15 year old nobodies, i expected SNSD to put up a lot more of a fight tbh. If Newbeans ends up being a cultural reset and ruining Kpop with their retread songs, i will forever blame SNSD for not stopping them X(X(X( .

    Because sones kept talking about how large and superior their importance was in Korea, usually to downplay Twice and BP. Elfs aren't saying this about current groups. EXO-Ls are too busy still complaining about how SM didn't push them in the West to drag other groups.

    SNSD were being set up online by the usual "please god let someone anyone end Blackpink this time" crew. They had a comeback a while ago that disappeared without trace. People aren't invested in them anymore. Acting like they were going to destroy the summer market was always a reach.

    Because this is all about whoever is currently promoting, when SUJU had their comeback they were dragged too, same happened with EXO.

    The song is charting at no 19 on Melon. For god sake, this is not flopping. Btw snsd hasn’t promoted the song (performance of the the song) on any music shows because one of the members got covid last Wednesday. I’m pretty sure the song will chart higher once they perform on music shows
