RE : Would NewJeans' Attention have smashed if they come from a nugu label?

It's already very rare to nugu company to even having a mid tier group, and to be have super successful group is even more rarer. Just seeing the the mid tier groups in 4th gen now, no one actually really coming from really poor and almost bankrupt company like Bts, Apink and GFriend does. So, if any fans here saying xy will still be successful if they come from nugu company, nah they just don't want to accept the harsh reality. Company playing major responsibility for the group succeed. Imagine having Ts entertainment managing the top group we have now like skz, txt, aespa, ive or itzy and see if they still able to gain the same popularity as they have now.

Let's say they don't come from Hybe or even big 3, would Attention have smashed on its own?

Yep, and even the so called "nugu" groups that have succeeded like StayC, Ive, and Gidle arent truly nugu. Starshit, Cube and Higher Up aren't nugu, two of them are part of Kakao and Cube already had several popular acts before Idle. Hell, even Weeekly and Billlie arent truly nugu, Weeekly also belongs under Kakao and Billlie is in an SM subsidiary label.
