How come Aespa can't crack 60k sales in Japan but can have fan meetings akin to concerts

TBH thats just Japan. It doesn't sound like much however, Twice is out here selling out the Tokyo dome for 3 days (thats 150,000 people) yet thier last couple albums sold between 60k and 100k in Japan which is down from the times when they would sell 300k per Japanese album yet if anything their fanbase has grown as shown by the concerts. Japanese album sales have gone down but its not due to lack of interest in the groups, I heard it was some new policy from a couple years ago.

Would be fair to compare when they release original japanese album and also album sales in japan went down a lot compared to early years.

The Japanese market is different. Blackpink sales in Japan are awful but they did four dome concerts 2 and a half years ago (that’s 170.000 attendance)
