Because she's too focused on curating her perfect image. Perfect girls aren't funny and don't have much personality because that could make them divisive. Bland is the goal. It helps people project their own values onto the person more easily.

She appears to be exactly how you described her. Even Izone members publicly talked about how Wonyoung never revealed too much of what was going on in her mind to them, they wanted her to lean on them if she needed it (i'm assuming it's cause she was the maknae and a literal 14 year old). But i think the truth is that she keeps a very very tight circle, maybe just her family actually. I have never once seen a TW or Insta pic of her with anyone else except for work related things.

Reminds me a lot of Sakura actually but even Sakura has been seen/reported to be socializing outside of work, she had drinks with Chaeyeon recently and we know she has at least one close friend from HKT48.

I thought Wonyoung was very funny and entertaining when she was on the PD48 show.
