Exactly this goes to far. You can choose to not believe them and express it, but going all the way to harass and even encouraging others to join the harassment … with this you lost all rights to even be offended in my opinion.

I can see why those involved would use tactics like this, but fans, people who are not even involved trying to shut down others to win for their faves is just ridiculous, especially since they don’t have much influence anyway. Fans do it all the time at the end their faves will either be innocent or guilty anyway, so what exactly was the point of all this ? Nothing then just showing their ugly side.
