Should idols that involved in scandal get kicked out or just take a hiatus?

Involved as in simply rumoured or confirmed?

depends on the scandal imo

Depends on the scandal but if it’s something serious then they should leave. The last thing a group needs is a problematic member causing more embarrassment by being active in the group plus more adverse reactions.
-
It really depends on their actions
-
If they're criminal or they keep hurting people, than leave.
-
Depends on the severity of the scandal and whether they're actually guilty or not. Criminal things like assault, drugs, abuse, severe bullying etc should deserve being kicked ASAP as those things can cause normal people to lose their jobs but usual kpop scandals like dating, dodgey quotes or behavioural issues I don't think so, those are relatively minor imo. Hiatus is enough. Otherwise a ton of idols would already be cancelled lol.

Depends on how severe. With the recent cases-if proven true, they shouldn't be kicked out or put on hiatus. They should be barred from group/solo product endorsement activities, variety show appearances, and having any sort of individual and/or unit group activities. So no acting jobs, MC positions, solo/unit group releases, variety shows, and/or CFs. No bread and butter. Their punishment is they have to keep on working hard as an idol group member but don't get the most lucrative offers/projects.
If the scandal is just a rumor with no solid evidence, a hiatus is the best choice.
DUI = Kick out imo

it depends on what kind of scandals. Some are not even that offensive
and just a mistakes but if the idol/s never learned and keep doing it
repeatedly then something is wrong and they should leave.
