I do. What can you say about it? It doesnt take me plenty of listens to force myself to like a song. Just one listen! Am I a weirdo( "different")now?

Unlike jyp stans who bought albums without knowing the music, members heck even the name of the group and got rewarded with the masterpiece that is O.O?

Well SM stans are similar, to be fair.

But the thing about these kinds of company stans is that they believe the company adds inherently more value to the music, concept, etc. They believe their fave company is some sort of visionary, an underdog that goes against the industry and the outsiders, and is the last pillar of quality. "SM are the only company with good vocals, only they experiment in the bland kpop industry, only they provide constant quality" vs "HYBE is the only company that still makes simple pop in an "experimental" industry, they're the only ones with meaningful concepts"...You don't really see YG or JYP stans acting like this. There used to be people like that but they kind of disappeared in the past years. It also wouldn't make sense, because of the way BP towers over everyone in YG, and JYP groups are all very different from each other, they don't have many things in common.

So, what I think is that Hybe stans care more about what Hybe represents in their heads, rather than looking at the music itself.

Trust me most ARMYs are not stanning NewJeans, they just casually like the group. It's just like how TXT has a lot of casual ARMY fans, but their real fandom has less ARMYs.

It feels like a Big 4 war. Company stans with a hint/sign that their own group can lead, the stans will quickly follow. I still don't understand how the hell NMixx sold almost 500K albums? This shit is not normal.

Hybe stans are the most united company stans after JYP. NMIXX couldn't do what NJ did because JYP stans aren't that big compare to Hybe thanks to BTS ofc.
