I just wanted to rant here:
I'm tired of racists. Whenever there are discussions/mentions of k-pop idols(aka Asians)/companies trying to get popular in America, best believe you will see racist "opinions" from people who think they know better and by being from the west, they are automatically considered better.
I never thought idols to be super mega talented geniuses the world has never seen before. I got in and stayed thanks to 2nd gen catchy music/dance practices/overall visuals and k-variety shows. I'm here to have fun.
I'm just tired of this superiority complex.
Western k-pop fans are more annoying. Whatever discussions there will be, their ignorant side will always come. ALWAYS. And they are supposed to be (they see themselves as) progressive and smart and not ignorant compared to other less developed(economically or culturally like Korea&Japan[yk racism, misogyny and so on]) countries. HA! Supposedly stan Asians then be first in line to be racist. Your western faves are so talented and superior and not boring and have IT, but for some reason you are still here. They don't even realize it.
K-pop companies are exhausting too.
I know k-pop & Asian countries are not perfect and there are racists too. But my focus for this post is about western countries, so if you want to discuss that, make your own post.
K pop is becoming less talked and idols will visit just for concerts anyway.
Hopefully they will go, support their superior talents and leave foreeeeeveeeeeer.
