Who’s the it girl of Kep1er (a.k.a Somi, Wonyoung,..)?

Every Produce season produces an it girl/boy. Somi/Sejeong from IOI, Kang Daniel/Ong Seongwoo from Wanna One, Wonyoung from Izone (X1 disbanded so it doesn’t count). Who in Kep1er can occupy the it girl role? Bahiyyih and Xiaoting are most viral on Twitter, can they become one?

Xiaoting and Bahiyyah are popular but "it girl" is a strong word.

No one. Theres a reason why Kepler is not on the same level as IOI or W1. Not every group has an idol of those calibre.

Going viral on social media does not make one an it girl/boy. There has to be a public recognition, cultural relevance, star quality, a general in-demand etc. etc. No one in Kep1er currently has that factor.

Somi has the personality and performance ability (also partly backing of BIG 3 companies), and was the center of IOI.

Sejeong popularised and was the icon of "Flower Road", never fell below number 2 rank and nicknamed "God Sejeong" cos she's a legit all-rounder entertainer.

Daniel blew up with the thigh sweep and his massive fanbase, and was the unquestioned male idol for the few years. He still is in-demand and doing everything from acting to hosting etc.

All of them are huge with CFs because the public actually knows who they are, they make the products sell, and they have an image that the public is familiar with.

No one in Kep1er is really known outside of Kpop fans. They don't go on known variety shows, they don't have songs that people resonate with, and tbh they lack a real star idol that the public can latch onto.

xiaoting should be the IT girl but koreans are too xenophobic to like her. Also bahiyyih

None of them is even close to being an it girl. I thought that was obvious

Let alone an it girl, they don't even have a recognisable member to the public. Like at least Momoland had Yeonwoo or JooE, or Loona has Chuu. Kepler's first rank Chaehyun has like no presence at all.

No one currently. Xiaoting maybe in the future, if she improves her charisma, in China. I don't see Bahiyyih happening. Yujin has potential, but if it hasn't happened yet it probably never will. Hikaru is great, but lacks the visuals. I don't remember the names of the other members.

none. i'm a fan of every girl group out there but this group really has no pull to me let alone their members.

Xiaoting may has the visual but there are tons of visual in kpop. They also have no member that are popular in gp.
