Another non Big 4 group recovered from one of the worst bullying scandals in recent kpop history. You never know when/where lightning will strike.

And unless the comeback is truly awful, they probably have enough good will and power at this point to weather a mediocre comeback.

I'm not even a Blink but you can see in many polls and stats that BP remains the #1 gg even tho they're not even doing anything. Ive will be fine but no one is ready yet to replace BP.

This is the type of comment I just dont get. People said the same thing about SNSD until Twice surpassed them. People said the same thing about Twice until Blackpink surpassed them. Y'all overestimate and underestimate too much.

It looks like they might be having an August comeback too. Their company might have got cocky since the multiple album versions v an unpromoted Bigbang digital single thing. When it comes down to it they won't be able to compete with Blackpink or even Twice.

Ive's chances are even. Their comeback might not reach LD's success but at very least will do similar to Eleven which is not bad. Because they are the trendiest gg right now and both korean and international fans will check their comeback. If their song is good, which is the bigger chance since Starship have high quality music producers, then it's a guaranteed success - maybe not on BP level, but surely with bigger chances of doing better than Twice and SNSD based on previous performances and current hype.

It all depends on which group will have the better song and concept, fandom and hype means nothing if the rest of the public won't eat that up.

Honest opinion: if we compare their latest comebacks Lovesick Girls vs Love Dive, IVE wins by miles in terms of quality. Teddy better choose carefully their new song if they want this hiatus bullshit to keep working.
