it doesn't have to make sense, as long as its catchy and people can ride the beats, it'll trend. that's how it works. if you want real lyrical, maybe a soloist or a real band would be better. that's why at one time, Lee Mujin was trending #1, his song was actually good and not nonsense lyrics, the GP who understands korean, can appreciate it.
for those of you who have been arguing if your favs have noise music, im telling you, majority of idols songs are noise music, and thats FINE, because it still sells and idols are still making money. and to be fair, BP isn't alone, but they do got some questionable lyrics.

I don't know how yall trick yourself into liking these songs but the words don't mean nothing. Like do yall not realise how dumb it sounds.
I always get second hand embarassment when people hear or play these songs in public and people just staring at yall.
I get cringe 2nd hand embarrassment on people who look down on others for what they like, when it does not effect you in the slightest. But I guess toxic is a toxic does

I feel you, but you have to understand that kpop has nothing to do with music. It's a genre and industry focused on everything else but music, and meant to be used by its fans for validation.
But you'll get no empathy here, this forum is replete with kpop fans. I go to work every day, go out, go to the gym, etc, I've never seen or heard kpop while I've been out. Though I live in the US and not in Malaysia or Korea. But if you do see some kpop fan bopping to gibberish kpop songs, just laugh, that's what I'd do.
