It was quick by BP standards.
BP don't have the type of music/songs that allows them to come back multiple times in a year.
They are pretty gimmick-y and they know ppl will see that if they started to come back more often. So they use rare comebacks as an excuse.
I dont think BP are capable of producing a large output of music without people getting a little burned out of their sound. They know this and I respect them for that. They know how to play the game for sure.
dude it was a 15 month hiatus between KTL and HYLT which is their second longest hiatus…
And if you’re talking about the gaps between HYLT, IC, and LSG, you’re seriously mistaken because LSG was their best Korean performing single out of the three, IC was their best western performing out if the three, and HYLT had a good mix. None of the songs even sound remotely similar; in fact, idk why people always have the most to say about BP’s “repetitive” sound when SO many artists who had back to back hits have a similar feel/structure that they use.

its gonna chart well bc its all part of the BP scheme. The reason they come back so little is because if they came back any more often, ppl would get dead tired of the same title track they keep putting out. The one time they tried to come back quickly with HYLT, it was faced with ppl complaining about releasing the same type of songs. Yg definitely realized this and didn't want to risk ppl getting tired of BP's music. So again they went back into the dungeon. Now they're gonna come back with basically the same type of plan. Release same sounding title track, a pretty good b-side and remaining part of the album being cheesy.
I guess thats why Twice started to flop after Fancy because people are TIRED OF THEM releasing same types of songs again and again. Despite they switched up to something more mature, GP doesnt want to listen anymore

I think it will

If you are thinking this way then you should get rid of this mentality. Money flopped in Korea doesn't mean it is a flop song. Actually it is bigger and more successful than any song which was popular in Korea in 2021. Because it was heard by more people and liked by more people.
Korean success doesn't matter if the song so doing well internationally. Because there are more people in the world than in Korea.
Exactly, the song Money played on the radios of all countries. When my mother heard the music while listening to the radio last year, she came to me and said that the kpop music I was listening to was playing on the radio. And that was Lisa's song Money.
