Does Enhypen’s new concept not fit them?

People seem to like the drill influence but don’t think the group pulls it off. Is the concept too tryhard for them?

They don't have good rappers to pull it off

now that bts is on hiatus, hybe want a new hiphop group but enhypen don't have the talents for hiphop. i can understand when some people say it sounds like a bts song because if bts are given this beats, they would absolutely kill it with better delivery and lyrics.

What does it have to do with talent, they just didn't train in rap for years like BTS rap line. Vocal line excl. JK is awful at rapping and some Enhypen members are better than them like Ni-ki, Heeseung and Jay. You're really weird comparing rappers to beginners and attributing it to talent.

EHP are a bunch of pretty boys. They need to be doing SS501 type music.

Enhypen are filled with preppy athletes. Tamed-Dash and Drunk-Dazed fit them perfectly, this doesn't.

suga and rm were spitting bars at professional rappers level while they were at enhypen's age now. there's something called talent other than experience.

It feels try hard and cringe. They are not good rappers and can barely pull off kpop rapping, yet someone at their company thought it was a good idea for them to try drill. Don't run before you walk!

What? Artists always improve with time, I'm saying their focus wasn't rap so it's natural they're not as good at it. JK is actually a decent rapper but others aren't, that's why everyone has their position. RM, Suga and Hobi are good because they've been doing it for a decade, they weren't born with those skills and Enha ain't rappers so stop comparing them.

At their age they already had experience and they weren't as good as they are now, so? If Enhypen members practiced rapping for years they'd be good now. Some of them are actually decent like Riki, Jay and Heeseung. Heeseung demonstrated impressive rap skills in his cover of Camping Everywhere.
