are pets capable of love? or complex emotions??

Mammals and birds are very much capable of feeling complex emotions like love. For reptiles, fish and the like it is a lot more debated and I believe it to be more of the latter

Not true. My cat that I had for 16 years certainly loved me and was a one person cat meaning she preferred to be with me. My partner's cat also loves me and always marks her scent on me or my things. The best thing about pets unlike people is they love you unconditionally and without judgement.

my cat doesn't even pretend to like us , if she wants to eat she will let us pet her and rubs herself on us and after she eats she disappears to go outside and we're not allowed to touch her anymore.

I think most dogs love their owners, I think the way their biology works or whatever is they just see the humans in their family unit as other members of their pack basically. Like dogs will literally die fighting to defend their owners, I don't think they're smart enough to like weigh the pros and cons of playing along and pretending to like their owner lol.
