BTS dropped an album for the first time in two years with no noise at all

NGG center and alleged it girl Nayeon is struggling to enter Melon top 50

4th gen leaders Aespa are literally #100 on Melon as I write this and MIA on Spotify Global

The only interesting things to come out of KPOP in 2022 are G-idle most likely securing SOTY after losing a member to a bullying scandal and IVE surviving the produce curse to become 4th gen's biggest winners both domestically and globally this year with back to back hits

Time to get actual hobbies ig

kpop fans pretty much adopt that mentality too

right now, everything related to "girlboss", no matter how generic and repetitive it is, sells

evidently when a trend becomes overused it drops in quality

on the bright side, covid is over, so no need to waste time on kpop anymore

Someone said this before and I think it perfectly encompasses what you’re feeling—at a certain point you grow out of things and start finding them boring even though they might not actually be boring. Kpop is one of those things.

tbh i agree with you, kpop has been a snooze fest this year except for gidle and i've. even my (hag) fav isn't concentrating on music anymore

I tried getting into some other 4th gen groups but none of them have that IT factor.... the last time I felt it was with rookie itzy but they kinda fizzled

this means it's time for you to move on from kpop. go see the sunlight outside. go visit your family n friends. go interact with the public, lastly dont lurk the forums anymore. you are free from kpop.

Kpop is alot more interesting if you stop focusing on charts and the success aspect of it.

You can like groups without caring about their charting. Just putting that out there.

Besides the charts kpop has been really boring for real lately. Most of the songs being released aren't bops and nothing interesting happening for a while now.

I'm staying here only for my few faves but besides them nothing else gets my attention at all...
