Showcases in LA sold out and 400k people in Japan signed up for their Japanese showcase and they're the most popular 4th gen gg in China and extremely popular in Korea.

they ran of stock repeatedly on target, Walmart, ktown and other stores. If SM were over-shipping this would not have happened especially not this early. Besides Hanteo isn’t that great of a measure. BP’s the album still did not pass 1m on Hanteo. after two years its still 800k there and 1.5 on Gaon. so i wont expect difference outcome for aespa.

If you compare it to BP it still makes no sense though, especially since I read here that Aespa's Chinese bars only did 300K

BP's bars did 500K and BP were also much more popular than Aespa in the US, SK, Europe, and SEA when they sold 1M. Not to mention they have always charted high on Japan Hot 100 and had two sold out Tokyo Dome shows. So where ARE all of Aespa's sales coming from? And will we see the global streams to back up the sales or not

Except it makes sense for BP because their western sales are not reported to Hanteo and they sold at least 300K in the US. Lisa and Rosé have much closer Gaon and Hanteo ratios because they didn't have western distribution

it’s not 2020 anymore. Sales for gg have grown tremendously. Ive are rookies and already cleared 653k copies on their second single while other rookies groups are clearing 400K, so yeah, it’s possible.

Hanteo already confirmed aespa exceed 1 m copies so 1,5 copies are within reach. Antis are threathened even before sm confirming the final numbers.
