Also, Professional singers like EXO has mastered the art of being emotive during performances, so don't come with excuses like "Robotic emotionless singing". They spend years training for it, don't disrespect and downplay their hardwork.

    I love Pikachu.

    Always have, Always will.

  • Particularly as someone who has spent decades training my voice, I dislike the narrative that being technically competent means that people are robotic.

There ARE certainly people who are technically skilled but lack emotive abilities, just as there are vocalists who lack some of the technical skills but possess the charisma and empathy to make an audience really connect... It’s not one or the other (!), but if you really train hard, regardless of your abilities, you should always be trying to convey whatever character a song has and that’s when music is universally most powerful (IMO obviously).

Anyway, those performances are gorgeous. Those lads are consummate performers with natural undeniable skill. Good for them!

Which song do you like the most from the ones posted by OP?

Do you expect me not to get swayed by puppies...?! 😂 I joke...

I probably like paper cuts the most - that was very powerful, but would need to watch a few times and break it down... but my gut instinct says ‘Paper cuts’, even without reading the lyrics, which I think says a lot about the strength of a performance.
