not the one you’re replying to but personally to me the pose in the 2nd pic is much more awkward and doesn’t make a flattering line of her body, and the angles of her face also don’t compliment her features as much as the first. The dress in the 2nd pic doesn’t have much shape due to the pose while the first dress looks better even with only so little of it visible; this is where contrasts with the background come in too. She also doesn’t lose her neck in the 1st pic unlike the 2nd, and the lighting just compliments her face and body much more. There’s also the middle-parting hairline which imo is almost always not as flattering as a sided-parting hairline like in the first pic. Even down to minute details like her hair being blown in the wind, in the 1st pic it looks much more artful and complimentary imo while the tendrils in the 2nd just hide her face and don’t do much lol

Interesting! I know next to nothing about photography so I don’t really notice stuff like that, but thanks for the detailed explanation 
. I guess me preferring the second picture is mostly due to me liking full body pictures in general. But what you said was really insightful
