Why do people say GGs have better title tracks and BGs have better B Sides?

  • It's 2022, time to stop repeating this like if it was 2012. Frankly, with girlgroups selling half million can anyone truly believe this?

Regardless Boygroups b-sides often outperform their own title tracks (Polaroid Love, The eve, Darari comes to mind), how could do this be even remotely related with fandom side? It's clearly that people often listen BG b-sides and find it good enough to keep listening, it's that simple. If you like Girlgroups b-sides it's great, really, but saying Boygroups b-side numbers being higher than Girlgroups due to fandoms is beyond delusional

    ???

Don’t even talk about sales when that’s not the topic okay selling million albums have nothing to do with having a dedicated fans who will stream your entire discography.

And you’re example is b-sides which went viral on TikTok okay???? (minus The eve). Look at the difference between the b-sides streams of the biggest Girlgroups vs biggest Boygroups then you will see the difference.

But we aren't talking about b-sides that are listening to fans-only, we are talking about b-sides that marginally have people outside fandoms streaming. Do you think a kpop bside north 100 million is due to fan streaming? Currently NCT Dream Glitch Mode is failling to reach 20 million on Spotify, how could you be so delusional thinking Boygroup high streams for b-sides are due to fandom streaming?

What you are failling to understand is why those songs went viral in first place. Because people found them funny and likeable to listen. This happen with Boygroups quite often, but doesn't seem to happen with girlgroups nearly as much, hence, we can see a clear preference for BG b-sides

What is amusing is, when GG title tracks perform (rightfully) better on charts it's because their title tracks have higher quality. When the Boygroups b-sides performs better than even their title tracks (and clearly outstream GG b-sides) it's anything but music quality. Hypocrisy much? :pepe-toilet:
