ningning cbar sales are fighting with winter cbar. considering wintercbar has richer people (ie more bulkbuy) ningning cbar is technically winning since every album they buy is going to a person.
yes ningning's way behind karina and winter overall (because winrina have korea) but considering half her cfans aren't buying albums and waiting for her to come back to china, and she has some recognition in sea (most popular there) and with western fans, so at least her popularity can increase.
ningning hasn't gotten showcased like karina and winter have been so even this is a lot, if she stands out with Girls, she will gain a lot of fans. She stood out in next level but that was geared to k-gp so it didn't help her as much.
fans have gotten 90% of winter's vocal range, karina often gets a lot of lines but ningning as the main vocalist has a lot to show and she'll get more fans when she does that. ningning has also improved since debut which fans like.
someone like wendy doesn't get any of the hype that rv gets generally but wendy has a big buying fanbase (ningning has one bigger than wendy btw) and so Sm gives Wendy lots of projects.
in that way giselle is worse off. ningning, winter and karina had their magazines sell out but giselle's didn't. even someone like sullyoon, jinni, lily and haewon sold out their magazines from a lesser known group.
if Aespa gets more popular in the west, ningning with her western visuals will get more popularity, but idk if american fans will let giselle's scandal go. not only does she have that, everyone knows giselle is the least popular + "untalented" because of her dancing scandal.
Basically the position Giselle is in internationally (besides Japan) is similar to the position Ningning is in Korea. But as a Chinese, Ningning was never going to have a chance there.

U must be new to kpop. V has always been the most popular bts member, he rarely used to get the spotlight in BTS's content which often made everyone doubt his popularity. Till 2016 he was undisputedly #1 but now JK is more hyped within fandom but V still has the strongest solo fanbase and popularity among non armys.
Jisoo's popularity in SK was on par with jennie during debut days, jennie' fancam went viral during D4 and she became huge even then jisoo was the 2nd most popular but again rose went viral for her uninque "westernised Korean" voice when she appeared on mask singer, she later appeared on another singing show and her collab of TT was well received too, she basically had more exposure. I'd say even now jisoo is either more popular or has equal popularity as rose in SK.

she's the least attractive, I doubt she can do anything to lessen the gap. If you don't fit conventional beauty standards as much, if you wanna stand out you need great skills, but her only skill is rap and rapping is generally not as popular, she's last in skill in every other area in the group.

keep in mind Rosé released music but still Jennie and Jisoo are the most popular members in Korea, Japan and China even SEA countries. Rosé is more popular in English speaking countries but Jisoo still managed to surpass her on instagram
you all love to downplay Jisoo's popularity it gets frustrating when she proves people otherwise.
