Trust me. If I only titled it the art category, I would get tons and tons of questions asking me about what art included and if they can submit in XYZ. Giving users options will make them focus on the category they're interested in and not just keep it vague and have them hesitate.
I know what you mean about centen . She submitted her entry and I must confess she's super talented. She won her category already.

Exactly. I'll add painting to the categories for next month
I think we should do it like that:
1. graphic editing (including photography)
2. digital art (everything digital art thats not graphic editing, so everything painted digitally including fanart)
3. none-digital art ('physical' paintings - could be fanart as paintings too)
4. craft/handiwork (including sculpturing)
ps: maybe post a small explanation to each category to the main post next time?
