It was obvious something was sus when they used the excuse of studying music as a reason to to stop working on music activities. I know fans will jump on me but YG is not doing well in his court case and the last thing the company needs is more drama. Maybe they're worried the press has something so they took precautionary measures.

I’ve seen artists photoshopped or cropped out of content during hiatuses before. It’s just that other companies try to be more subtle about it.

Maybe “studying” is a cover for a health issue, particularly a mental health issue he didn’t want to share with the world.

Fans are so nosy about people on hiatus who maybe didn’t want to get into the issues (stress, anxiety, people constantly being in their business).
