Can we just let idols live their own personal lives and chill?

This whole GD x Jennie thing is being blown up like the Dawn x HyunA and Taeyeon x Baekhyun ones. Just let them freaking date and leave them the heck alone. There is no reason for the threats and the numerous malicious rumors people are making. They are human beings and deserve to live like the rest of us, which means having normal life events outside of work. Their job is making music and performing, leave it at that and let them enjoy the fruits of their labor as well as their personal lives. It is none of our business honestly, if they decide they want to share that information with us or write songs about each other cool but otherwise just leave them be.

THEY ARE NOT YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY, JUST BECAUSE YOU OWN THEIR ALBUMS AND MERCHANDISE DOES NOT MEAN YOU OWN THEM.

I feel like it has been such a battle to try to get people to respect the artists. I have been a fan of Asian pop in general for a long time and for a long time avoided the fourms but I am now glad I have joined because in addition to making friends, I finally see what absolute bull these musicians keep being subject to. I appreciate the fact that there are some people here who are not going out of their way to discredit an almost 20 year music veteran and a 20 something girl because god forbid they date.
