RE : Why don’t Itzy appeal more to the west?

  • Significant progress compared to their peers? I guess u r talking about skz and txt. Both bgs and have fandom power in west at least to some extent. Especially for bb200 charting. Itzy do not have that. I think u shouldn't compare to bp tbh.

Honestly their concept or songs isn't all that west friendly either.

  • ITZY had their first album with proper distribution on the US during "Crazy In Love" era while TXT, for example, has been since their debut album. 'Guess Who' was in a few stores with not too much shipping.

About Spotify, they are improving. But what happens is that they haven't comeback for over 8 months. During their last comeback, they were the 4th gen group with the highest amount of monthly listeners. But Stray Kids, IVE, Enhypen, TXT released songs later and surpassed, what is expected since they are all growing too.

And Loco also used to be fastest 4th gen song to reach many +10M milestones in total streams, until Eleven, Maniac and Love Dive were released.

People should just give them time to comeback first, because obviously groups that came back later will be in advantage.
