This is the statement from the management for (G)-idle's DC gallery regarding Seo Soojin's school violence controversy.

(t/n: we will paraphrase the notice):
    - We are aware that Cube's stance is that none of the claims from the informant were real
    - The informant has revealed more information about the school violence since then, which led Soojin to reveal her stance on UCUBE on the 22nd at 7AM
    - The informant then revealed another rebuttal post on the 22nd at 11PM, to which Cube has not responded since

    - There is no way we can justify school violence by any reason
    - If someone wants to become an idol, they need to explain their controversies clearly and take ownership of what happened
    - The fans cannot support a singer who isn't able to acknowledge the claims or who isn't able to defend themselves appropriately

    - Therefore, we cannot support Soojin who was not able to explain her side of the story in this controversy clearly

    - The rest of the members aren't active parties in this controversy, so we support their promotion
    - We don't want G-idle's name to be tarnished
    - We are requesting Cube to protect the other members and to present the reality and their position ASAP
    - We ask for all fans who attack the informant to stop their actions

    post original post: here

    1. Those are cool fans

    2. The normal fans are thereㅌㄷㅌㄷ

    3. I hope she leaves for the fans and the team

    4. They're normal

    5. Please withdraw already

    6. Retire

    7. Their statement is written better than Cube's ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    8. I support the fans, the fans aren't at fault here

    9. The fans are showing they have principles

    10. For the fans, Soojin has always been the quiet one and seems introverted so this must've felt like a backstab but now that we're all aware of her school violence, she needs to leave. Don't hurt the fans anymore ㅠㅠ

    11. They're good at managing their abnormal fans. If I was the victim, I would go "What are those fans?" They are the ones who are making up rumors and killing the victim twice at this point

    12. She needs to withdraw, the normal fans will not support her anymore

    13. Because of Seo Soojin and her fans b*tches, the other members and the fandom are the ones getting sworn at

    14. The normal fans and the other members have no fault here..

  • - The fans cannot support a singer who isn't able to acknowledge the claims

    but she did...

plus we dont even know the full story to call her a bully already...

she may be one, she may not. its not hard to stay neutral.

and if you're not gonna stay neutral, dont bash the other side.

  • wow fans really said to other "don't attack informant/victim"

    that's something great
I also really like that they didn't write anything about kicking Soojin out, and they demanded proper statement from CUBE

  • - The fans cannot support a singer who isn't able to acknowledge the claims or who isn't able to defend themselves appropriately

I understand where this statement is coming from and why this fanclub is doing it, but again, the reasoning behind it is flawed.

    1. Why should anyone acknowledge claims IF these claims are inaccurate?

Blaming the defender for not acknowleding the claims means guilt has already been established. Who's the judge though?

    2. Blaming someone for being unable to defend themselves is like blaming a disabled person for not running fast enough. Soojin addressed the allegations and even admitted to stuff she didn't even have to. If she's not a liar, what more is she supposed to do? Even though it feels like a lifetime already since this scandal broke out, it's actually still brand new. Some shit is being taken care of behind the scenes for sure. It's not up to the fans to impose their schedule of choice.
