i dont really see ives amazing stage presence

ppl keep talking about it and i watched their stages and they just look average? maybe bc their concept is elegant or whatever but they literally look like theyre just walking around the stage doing slight choreo and im just not seeing it like even their dance break was boring

Why can't people get it finally into their heads? Stage presence is such a personal, subjective experience: what moves one person in an artist's performance isn't the same as what moves another person in an artist's performance.

Personally I think Wonyoung's stage presence is phenomenal, while I find the others nothing special.

But I'm fully aware that's just my opinion and impression of their stage presence: unlike most k-pop fans I don't equal my view on stage presence of many groups as the absolute truth but just an opinion and preference.

Stage presence isn't only about having tough choreo you know. It's about commanding the stage enough so the audience can't do anything but watch you. Whether it's by dance, vocals or pure charisma. And Ive has that in spades.

If all you want is difficult choreo with over the top dance breaks then there are plenty of 4th gen boy groups with that style of presence just for you.

it's because they lipsync so much

lipsyncing tends to decrease a group's stage presence imo, the idols have to be preoccupied with looking realistic rather than just giving a genuine performance, plus their energy is often mismatched with the energy of the track

Well Ive and aespa are always getting compared (their achievements) and in comparison with aespa almost any group has great stage presence
