Why is YG doing the worst in business?

OP is operating profit, S is sales. YG is doing the worst even though Treasure are bringing in album sales. Hybe earns almost as much as the other 3 combined. Are you surprised?

Hybe will always earn money as long as they have bts. bts had concert in march with 2million people.

treasure sells pretty well but hybe has seventeen, txt and enhypen who sell better and that's even without mentioning bts. Blackpink sells well too but in total less than the groups mentioned because they have a cb once a year at most.

We love to see it. No BLACKPINK, no money.

YG has more sales than JYP but spend much more on their MVs.

Those yg boy groups are not earning much

Because they give too much attention to their boy groups, everyone must get a comeback. Meanwhile the most popular girl group in the world continue making their way through Netflix's catalog. I think there's more than a dash of misogyny in that. And Teddy sits there counting his money and not letting anyone outside The Black Label work with BP, except the occasional low effort collab.

Most other companies make more money because they know fans will eat up all new releases so they keep churning them out. Blackpink's fans this year have been invited to buy an out of date calendar set, and a HYBE language course.

The costs are up this year due to multiple comebacks. Treasure, Ikon, Winner and the big one BP. Next year's profits will be massive.
