RE : why do people act like garam apologizing would have changed anything

  • Because it would have ended the situation faster and stopped it from blowing up like it did. Part of the reason it got so bad was because how dragged out the whole thing have been.


    If Hybe had handled the issue within the first two weeks it would have never reached the news or attracted this much attention.

  • Assuming the accusations are true:


    An apology doesn't change much unless the victim is ready to accept it. An immediate apology would however have shown that she understands that bullying is wrong and hurtful and that she regrets it.


    I don't know if there was an apology in private back when it happened, but even if...why not apologise again? For fear of looking like the bigger person?

    It would have been a lot more graceful. She could have shown that she's changed and that she is willing to accept responsibility for her actions. Refusing to apologise and denying everything could end up being a very bad look if the accusations turn out to be true.
