    I. Introduction

    "Yestoday" is the sixth song on NCT's first full Korean studio album, Empathy. The album was released on March 14, 2018, while this song was released as a single on April 1.


    This album was the first all-unit album, featuring all members from all the units at the time. This included 18 members from the three units, NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream. (WayV would be added the year after this release.) The Empathy project also officially introduced members Kun, Jungwoo, and Lucas.


    Several of the songs on the album were previously released through 2016-18. This song was new for the album.


    This song is by NCT U and is in Korean and English. NCT U is a rotational unit where specific members are selected to match the song. This song features these members: Taeyong, one of the main rappers of NCT 127; Doyoung, one of the main vocalists in NCT 127; Lucas, a rapper in WayV, and Mark, one of the main rappers in NCT 127 and NCT Dream
