PREPIX Ill Lee


  • I. Introduction

    iLL Lee, also known as PREPIX Ill Lee, is a Korean hip hop dancer, choreographer, instructor and director. He has trained and choreographed for groups at SM Entertainment, including EXO and NCT, notably as NCT's main choreographer. He also runs a highly regarded dance studio and dance crew, PREPIX.


    II. Career

    Lee was a hip hop dancer, choreographer and one of the founders of the dance studio PREPIX. The studio's choreographers began winning awards and gaining attention on its YouTube channel. PREPIX is one of Korean's top dance studios and many of its dancers are choreographers working in K-pop. Lee was a dancer on EXO's ElyXiOn tour, as well as working as a dance trainer and choreographer for SM artists. He became NCT's main choreographer and created many of the signature choreos for all units, as well as performance stages, including "Black on Black," "Superhuman" and "Baby Don't Stop." Additionally, he often directed many of the dance practice videos.


    Several current SM choreographers previously worked as his assistant or as a part of the PREPIX dance crew, including Sea Ni. He continues to work closely on NCT choreography, as well as serving as performance director for other NCT and SM choreographers.
