I. Introduction
Hello Future is a repackage of the album Hot Sauce from the NCT sub-unit, NCT Dream. It was released on June 28, 2021 and featured the lead single "Hello Future."
II. Background and Release
On June 7, SM Entertainment announced a repackage album of the tremendously successful Hot Sauce album called Hello Future, which would release on June 28. Hot Sauce was NCT Dream's first full album and the first release with 7 members since Mark's graduation in 2018, after the elimination of the age-based graduation system. The repackage album contains 13 songs, including 10 from the original Hot Sauce album, and 3 new songs: "Hello Future," "Bungee" and "오르골 Life Is Still Going On". It featured two different photobook versions, Hello and Future, as well as two different Kihno versions.
Teaser photos were released over the next weeks with different themes: "Peace, Love and Dream," "Dream and Let Dream," "Past, Present and Dream," "Our Dream Days," and "Big Dreams, Big Thrills." The lead track, "Hello Future," was debuted on KBS on June 25, with a video of the B-Side "Life is Still Going On" released on June 26, as well as the "Hello Future" MV Teaser. The group hosted a listening event on vLive ahead of the album release.
"Hello Future" was performed on Korean music shows along with a B-side that was the original Hot Sauce album, "Diggity." During the Hot Sauce promotions, that lead single was paired with the B-side "Dive Into You."

VII. Reception
Hello Future debuted at #1 on the South Korean Gaon charts and #10 on the Billboard Japan charts. The album set a record for first-day sales on Hanteo with 527,758 copies sold, the highest one-day sales for a repackage album. For its first week, it is second highest ever for a repackage at 681,316 copies. It also topped the iTunes charts in 19 different regions and was certified platinum by China's QQ chart. The album was certified 3x Platinum in Korea, then later certified as a Million seller. The single "Hello Future" won four times on Korean music shows.
