The one silver lining about the pandemic is that fansite masters have had very little business. It's what they deserve.

Critics are really liking TXT lately. Pleasantly surprised.

Someone suggested that for large events there might be security undercover in the crowd, which would make sense.

I'll never get used to idols thinking they have to apologize for causing hurt to fans simply because they started families or got married. Congrats to him and his new family!

But they really don't have an excuse. The OT7 bars kept their group orders, ignored the noise, and carried on as normal. It was the solo bars that acted a hot mess. Fortunately, BTS doesn't really need the Chinese market, although it's nice to have. They now have enough sales in the rest of the world to compensate.

The solo bars are the ones who canceled BE orders and threw BTS under the bus. They're not doing this for the members, just for their own publicity and bragging rights.

I'd really rather have the tickets. I don't want my money back.

I can understand giving them to libraries or even cafes so they can loan them out or play the music but I've always felt uncomfortable with sending albums to orphanages and places like that. I'm really happy that BTS doesn't do fan signs anymore. It's stopped much of the bulk buying for albums. Still some China bars bulk buying though.

I've only watched half so far but this is so cute! Tae surprised me with how well he's reading English now. That was cool too see that he was really reading the words and syllables.
-
Both. Many of their bright songs/concepts are actually pretty dark lyrically.
-
They are seriously so cute. I don't really listen to either of them (not a fan of HyunA's voice) but I really love them as people and I'm rooting for them.
-
I just watched the video. Not really my kind of song but it was so cute that I actually like it. She's very likeable, at least in the mv.

I love Permission To Dance but Make It Right has never been my fave. That said, BTS seem to love his songs so if it makes them happy, then they should keep doing it. I can always hit the skip button if I need to.

It's not as if there aren't dozens of other musical genres that exist. For people who only stan one kpop group that's usually because they're not super into kpop except for that specific group and the rest of their music may be rock, r&b, stuff from their native countries, etc.
I stan BTS, to a lesser extent TXT, and I'm waiting for the Jpn bg because I'm a K stan. But most of what I listen to daily is stuff like Miike Snow, Dua Lipa, or various Motown artists. I have a huge range of music that I listen to casually.

Eh. I'm almost 40 and didn't like kpop until 4 years ago so I don't care if somebody is attractive if they don't have average to above average talent to go with it. I'm always here for the music first, personality second, and visuals are kinda far down the list. My first group was KISS in the 90s when the original 4 got back together. They all look like feet. I love them anyway.

It's a non-issue to me. My parents gave us modest amounts of beer and wine from the time we were little. We'd get a few little sips in our own cup and of course a little bit more when we got older. It was a normal thing. Every teen I knew drank at least a little.

Hanbin!!! I'm excited for him and I'm glad he's got a group. At this rate, everyone I'm keeping tabs on will debut before my baby K and Taki. Geonu debuted, Hanbin looks to be debuting soon. And then Hybe Labels Japan is just fuckin' around or whatever who knows. At least there's music being worked on.

This was a good strategy lol.
It took about a year, year and a half. I was very determined. I would trick my mom into watching BTS videos by telling her that I found this cool video with cinematography that she would like (she's an artist). Since I really do send her interesting videos, she had no way of knowing which ones were BTS vids so she would watch them by accident and ended up really liking them. Then she started looking for them on her own.

Do You Ever Feel Like Being Into Kpop Is Hard? Or Hurts/Harms You? Maybe Mentally or Socially?
I love kpop. It's my primary "entertainment" culture that I pay attention to.
I feel like I found a place I have come to belong and especially finding forums like Allkpop. Lots of friends and people I can share this with. It's wonderful.
But sometimes it does make it difficult or weird, because I don't share as much with my "in real life" friends and coworkers. There's this huge part of my life that they aren't into so I talk about it from time to time. And they know I'm into this sort of stuff. But we don't really ever "share it" like we would say pop culture form my own country.
So it's kind of weird having such a big part of your life cut off from those around you. It's been 11+ years so I became used to it though.
What about you?
I converted my mom and older sis to ARMY so I always have someone to talk to IRL.

The more I read the more I don't understand what the hell are you talking about
Is there the tldr version?
I think they dislike PTD but I'm not totally sure because that was like 3 different topics in one and I got a little lost after the first paragraph.
