I think this is gonna be hard to say but I don't think this will end with Moonbin. As long as mental health isn't taken seriously tragedies like this will repeat itself. Also as someone who suffered from depression for at least 6 years I know how it feels to be suïcidal. If your thoughts are filled with darkness and pain constantly you get the feeling you will NEVER get better. What shocked me the most about Moonbin is that he was all smiles. He looked happy with his life and what he was doing. I tried finding any clues of him being depressed or in pain but I couldn't find any. He must have suffered in secret and made this decision because he couldn't bare the pain anymore.

Whereas with Jonghyun you could see the depression in his eyes if you watch his videos. And feel his suffering through his music. He committed suïcide in the period I had severe depression as well. So I was literally sick and I had so much pain processing his death. Even, when I didn't really follow SHINee or Jonghyun as a fan. It was the fact that I could relate to him so much.

At the end of the day only God saved my life. If I didn't believe I would have jumped ship too. After 6 horrible years of being miserable and done with life I finally found a treatment that helped me get back on track mentally.

Depression is a disease that affects anyone differently. Some are better in hiding it and some don't. And sometimes even therapy sessions and anti depression pills won't help. It is very very hard for some of us to find the light again. And unfortunately some chose to end their own life.

I am still kinda hoping the autopsy will say something else.

Not jumping to conclusions but suicide makes more sense than health issues or murder.

The only reason I am saying this is because a friend of my brother (21 years old at the time) died because of a heart attack in his sleep last year. It was completely unexpected because he was so young and he never had any health issues.

So yes, it is pretty unlikely for someone such a young age but not completely impossible.

Why is everyone assuming he committed suicide? What if he had a heart attack? We won't know for sure until they conclude the autopsy report.

Nevertheless this must be horrible for his family and friends. I wish them a lot of strength and may he rest in peace..

I am gonna be brutally honest but ever since Hanbin left Ikon hasn't been the same. Mainly because Hanbins producing, voice, style, sound whatever you wanna call it was Ikons signature. Take out the main character and the spark is gone, thats what happened with Ikon for me.

Like he is one of my favorite actors and he seemed like a genuine nice and sweet guy. I am dissappointed but all the respect I had for him ends right here. Sexual assault is not fuckin ok.

If this is really true and even more people come forward it could get out of hand. The easy way out is to throw her out of the group and continue as 5 members. It is not that hard, really. Groups lose members every once in a while and continue, so.

Idk but sometimes victims are afraid to speak up immediately. It takes years before they feel secure and brave enough to talk about their trauma. Just like the "me too movement". For outsiders like us it is difficult to understand why you would wait so long before saying anything. Some are true, some may be false.

My best friend recently confessed she has been abused starting at the age of 13 by her stepfather. She has been depressed for years and no one knew why. Now we know, but it took her 7 years to finally stand up for herself. Usually victims are afraid. ashamed and vulnerable.
