Every Song On SHINee’s New Album Is Now A Charting Hit In Korea
When SHINee returned to the music scene earlier this year, fans welcomed them warmly, quickly snapping up their latest album Don’t Call Me. Now, just a few weeks after that set arrived, the band is back with a revamped edition of the title, and their legion of followers is back again for more.
This week, SHINee’s Atlantis, the name they gave the repackaged version of Don’t Call Me, arrives at No. 2 on the Gaon Albums chart, coming in behind only Kang Daniels’ Yellow EP. While it’s great to see the band back inside the top 10 with another title, it’s on the Gaon Download chart where the quartet really succeeds in an impressive way.
On the latest Gaon Download chart, which ranks the tunes that sold the most downloads in South Korea every week, SHINee sees every track from Atlantis find space, as well as one more (for good measure). This frame, the group occupies a lucky 13 spaces on the 200-rung tally, making them one of the most successful acts this time around.
SHINee almost scored another No. 1 on the Gaon Download Chart this week with “Atlantis,” the title track and lead single from the repackaged album. That cut debuts in second place, behind only Daniels’ “Antidote,” as this frame appears to belong to him in the country.
A few spots down, “Same Seat (Area)” hits No. 19, while “Days and Years” lands at No. 27. Just one other release from Atlantis finds its way into the upper half of the chart this week, as "Don't Call Me" narrowly breaks into the first hundred spaces, settling at No. 99 after falling one space from last period.
Inside the lower half of the Gaon Download chart this week come “CØDE” at No. 149, “Attention” at No. 154, “Blank (Kind)” at No. 177, "I Really Want You" at No. 182, "Marry You" at No. 184, “Body Rhythm” at No. 187, "Heart Attack" at No. 190 and “Kiss Kiss” at No. 198.
In addition to the dozen songs featured on Atlantis, one older favorite from SHINee also finds space on this week’s Gaon Download chart this time around, bringing their one-week total to 13 present hits. “View,” taken from their 2015 full-length Odd, appears at No. 196.
Here is a look at where all 13 of SHINee’s songs rank on this week’s Gaon Download chart.

No. 19 - “Same Seat (Area)”
No. 27 - “Days and Years”

K-Pop Powerhouses SHINee Command Almost 30% Of The Top 10 On The World Songs Chart
As beloved Hawaiian musician Israel Kamakawiwoʻole returns to No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart with his classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” replacing BTS’s “Film Out” in the process, one of the biggest and most beloved all-male vocal acts in South Korea scores several new wins on the tally. Those just-released smashes demonstrate their popularity here in the United States and make them one of the biggest forces on the tally this frame.
K-pop titans SHINee are back on the World Digital Song Sales chart in a big way, as the band debuts not one, not two, but three new tracks not just on the ranking, but inside the top 10.
This week, SHINee controls nearly 30% of the spots inside the top 10 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. That kind of showing is relatively uncommon. In fact, it’s not often that any group (aside from BTS) has a shot at filling that many spaces at once that close to the top.
Up first among SHINee’s new hits on the World Digital Song Sales chart is “Atlantis,” which is also the name of the re-released version of their recent album Don’t Call Me. That cut opens at No. 3. Just a few spots behind “Atlantis” come two tunes that debut back-to-back. New at No. 6 is “Area,” which is immediately followed by “Days and Years” at No. 7.
Throughout their career, SHINee has now placed 33 different tunes onto the World Digital Song Sales chart, with 21 of those reaching the top 10.
Amazingly, “Atlantis” is one of seven SHINee tracks that have peaked at No. 3 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, and they are all tied with one another as the band’s second-highest-charting cuts yet. Just one title, “View,” lifted higher. Back in 2015 that release went all the way to the runner-up spot. So far, SHINee hasn’t conquered the list.
SHINee claims the second-most hits on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart, coming in behind only BTS, who this frame occupy half a dozen spaces.
All three songs that debut on the chart this frame come from Atlantis, the repackaged version of SHINee recent album Don’t Call Me. The group added a trio of tunes to the tracklist, and clearly fans loved what they heard.
