They were also one of the few 2nd gen groups which the whole albums were good and not only the singles 
I was impressed only by NewJeans and ITZY at debut, hence why I stanned them in their first year. I also liked 'Fearless' album and 'Black Mamba'.
Stray Kids didn't impress me until 'God's Menu', because I simply didn't pay much attention to them before. But this song is basically a re-debut, so It counts...

Well, I like BabyMonster and I liked that one KiiiKiii song.
I see the potential in the girlies in MEOVV. But there is something holding them back. Are the songs? Is the management? Is their branding?
I don't like any of the Kiss of Life songs I've listened to, but I think what they are releasing is what works for them since people are liking. I think the members are charming and remarkeable individually, something that is lacking in most of 5th gen.

SM is not knowing what do with any of their newer groups. It's the same problem with RIIZE and to a lesser extent NCT Wish. I can't see anything remarkeable.
I few like older groups are not that affected, because they already are formed and have an identity given by people previously working at the Company, so SM just have to follow a formula. Now when they need to create one...

this is a crazy thing to say about a bullying accusation 😭
I'm not saying this about the bullying itself, but the accusations are already almost like a rite of passage for groups during their (pre-)debut at this point, since It keeps happening.
