Even if he said it's a woman's responsibility to be feminine, why is that terrible? I hate to be that guy but there's clear sexism and double standards at play. People sat here talking down about feminine guys or other comments talk about guys having to be masculine and even give the stereotype western guy look yet hardly anyone sees any of that shit wrong. But someone said something a fuckin decade ago and its top news and cancel culture. Lol i highly doubt anyone here is the same person a decade ago i bet many of your thoughts beliefs etc changed with time from different experiences, newer information etc, so to think someone is still that way years later is ignorant at best and foolish at worse.
And yes someone's comment about trouble during comeback times is true cause lets be real who the fuck said hey let me go look up taemins entire life history. Funny how nobody had much of an issue with those comments years ago and that was a public tv broadcast not something hidden in private.
Times change let shit of the past lie where it is, this toxic virtue signaling bs is a cancer to society and is actually causing the downfall of humanity because everything about calls for the dumbing down, white washing and censorship of history no one can learn from past mistakes wheb those mistakes no longer exist.
I never said Taemin deserved to be cancelled, I just wanted to understand what he was trying to say and why because I thought it was uncharacteristic of him to say something like that. I understand now this was years ago so I do agree its pointless to bring it up now but I still don't understand what he actually meant by this.
However I do think saying "it's a woman's responsibility to be feminine" its a terrible thing to say because women should be allowed to be however they want and not force lo live to some " feminine" standard, same goes with men. Expecting people to live up to a certain stereotype is unhealthy for everyone.

Tbh I really don't think she was trying to do anything with that pic, most people associated nazi uniform with the Swastika and from the photo it doesn't look like this mannequin had any visible one. Its very likely she just thought it was some random soldier and it was probably an stupid mistake. I think she should just explain the situation and apologize.

Its possible, if the industry keeps growing. I don't really follow charts closely but even I know back in 2nd gen to be a top GG had to sell 100k and SNSD selling 300k was huge. Now 100k is pretty standard for a lot of groups, above 300k is normal for top GGs like IZONE and Twice and 1 million is the new record to beat. Its possible that if the next gen can get into the US market, that numbers will multiply again.

Interesting, I thought they might not renew but they do get pretty good treatment at YG, they seem to be the only artist, aside from BB, that get to release music when they want and not when the company allows.
I do hope they didn't renew for long. I once read in a music industry book that is never good for the artist to sign long contracts, simply because they don't know whether those conditions will be the best for them in the future. Its always better to re-negotiate every couple of years than to be binded by a long contract with the exact same conditions you once negotiated.
A good example is Taylor swift, she signed a contract when she was 16 (?) and had to keep those same conditions until she released 6 albums, even if she became a multinational super star, she was binded by the same conditions her 16 year old self had negotiated.
