Its possible, if the industry keeps growing. I don't really follow charts closely but even I know back in 2nd gen to be a top GG had to sell 100k and SNSD selling 300k was huge. Now 100k is pretty standard for a lot of groups, above 300k is normal for top GGs like IZONE and Twice and 1 million is the new record to beat. Its possible that if the next gen can get into the US market, that numbers will multiply again.

Interesting, I thought they might not renew but they do get pretty good treatment at YG, they seem to be the only artist, aside from BB, that get to release music when they want and not when the company allows.
I do hope they didn't renew for long. I once read in a music industry book that is never good for the artist to sign long contracts, simply because they don't know whether those conditions will be the best for them in the future. Its always better to re-negotiate every couple of years than to be binded by a long contract with the exact same conditions you once negotiated.
A good example is Taylor swift, she signed a contract when she was 16 (?) and had to keep those same conditions until she released 6 albums, even if she became a multinational super star, she was binded by the same conditions her 16 year old self had negotiated.

Honestly her apology seems sincere and I think its time to close this chapter so everyone can move on. I'm sure people will still be vigilant that her attitude has change for the best.

Bc it is business after all? She needs to sit with them and talk or she needs some connections. She doesnt just come and go while having 0 contact with everyone else.
And she SAID that she was friend with staff, greeted them and hung out a little before going home.
Also, to know ins and outs of the club isnt very hard.. Especially if you have friends there or if your business is connected to it.
Won't her business is handled by her management,? Do you really think she befriends the staff of every club she performs at? Artist have management for this very reason.
She never said she was friends with the staff, she said her friends were there and congratulated her and the staff, most likely other people who went to support her and see her set.
This is exactly why his random post is a problem, people are assuming staff about her without proof and trying to connect her with a very serious crime.

So, yes, if she was VIP guest, performed there and was friend with staff and other VIP guests, she definitely knew something.
She wasn't part of the staff, she performed there once as she has done in numerous other clubs, in korea and internationally. She tours clubs as a DJ. Why would she know the ins and outs of every club she performs?
