Yeah, I definitely got the sense you and the others were going for a "safe space" type of feel as opposed to a "medical expert" environment.
But either way, @ripia's explanation is accurate about our decision not to continue it. Certain things may be a liability issue and I'm always cautious about that as well.
There are a few places here that come close to resembling that thread, with this being one of them, believe it or not.

Of course, we would never try to cause harm by acting like qualified experts and it could still cause harm even without intending to, so it makes sense
If there are still spaces here like it, then I'm good with that decision ~

if you want to you can come up with a thread with a similar concept but just less dark, and we can see about it. Just that particulate concept brings potential issues, but if you want a safe space and comfort thread to share thoughts etc, maybe try and think of a way to do that
I'll definitely think about it if I become more active here again, I think it'd be a good idea to make the lines more clear if we have a thread like that on this forum ~

There is some legal issues with having the MH thread, we need licensed practitioners who can give professional solid advice to those, or it could come back on us especially in regards to things such as s****** and other harmful activity.
It's just something that we had to do, but you can always share your thoughts in the random thought thread!The other people on that thread and I always tried to maintain the limit of not being professionals and only comfort or talk it out in a safe space instead, but it does make sense and maybe it was time for that thread to go, I don't think it's a wrong decision but just miss it is all c:

I honestly thought you were away from AKP forever and maybe that was your plan.
Personally, I feel like we could benefit from a mental health thread, but the decision has been made and I respect it. It's a complicated issue.
