But aespa being 18-20 at debut is still different from 26-32! Riize was 20-22 I think? To me, it’s just refreshing to see people in their late 20s debut.

Yeah it is! But I think SM is aiming to appeal to both older and younger demographics based on some stuff I read on Reddit.

The vocals in the title track are unsurprisingly amazing but unfortunately I really do not like the chorus at all. And the lyrics, in my opinion, are really cliché and/or cringey at times. It'll be a flop for me, because while there are some parts of the song I find to be appealing, it is not something I would listen to. Maria is significantly better.

I understand the need to apologize to the people in the room with her IF they weren't okay with it. What I find weird is why she needs to apologize to anyone else. I wasn't personally impacted by her vaping, she doesn't owe me an apology for it. She definitely doesn't need to apologize to Koreans or whoever else.

This doesn't need to be a public matter - it just needs to be between Jennie and whoever IN THAT ROOM felt unhappy with her vaping.

The youngest being 26 is shocking to me!

I love Karina, she is definitely my favorite in aespa, but I think Wonyoung is still the It Girl. I do acknowledge and even appreciate her rise in popularity and her trendsetting, though. Maybe with time she will surpass Wonyoung!

I don't see how fanbases arguing with each other would secure a spot. And I also don't see why it matters. Yes, it's important for groups to be successful and profitable, but do they really have to be the best? Can't we just enjoy our favorite music and performances and not rip each other's hair out about these "rankings"?

EXO by far, it's not even a competition. I don't even know who is in second place for me. I think maybe LOONA if you include ARTMS and Loossemble albums! Also ATEEZ but I only have 2 albums but I got a lot of freebies from their concert.

I liked the song overall but it's still a blop for me. I found the "3 minute song is a weird flex" or whatever the lyric is to be cringe so that ruined it a bit for me. I suppose this song is targeted to girls younger than me but... yeah.

Cunty means that something is really beautiful/stunning/cool or any kind of compliment to a high degree. Also that it is iconic.

Saying Chaewon has a cunty bob means that her hair is stunning and iconic.

Language is really interesting with how it changes over time!! Boomers were probably confused by Gen X slang, while Gen X got confused by Millennial slang… and so on.

The only reason that me, a Gen Z, is not confused by Gen Alpha (or whatever this newer generation is called) slang is because I am chronically online.
