Dubs definitely suffered from DG suspension this year. The West is also tougher than East and has been for some time. Warriors are the last dynasty and that wasn't Twice. Maybe the Heat is a better comp. Past champs, still makes it close to the top from time to time.

Anyway, how bout them Villanova Knicks? I want OG back, but not sure how this all works. I think Mikal is a better player anyway, but you can clearly see build for wings to go at those fckin green shits (ahh I can't even say their name this past Finals was triggering).

Yea the knicks are clearly in compete now mode with this mikal trade. General consensus amongst fans is this trade doesnt make sense unless we resign OG, which I agree with. So im confident he will be back. Signing hartenstein is also huge, but looking iffy. If we can do that, stay healthy, and everyone plays at the level they did last year, i dont see why we couldnt make a run this year. Knicks Vs Celtics ECF would be series of the year. But i will always be overly optimistic for the knicks.

Twice as the Warriors is a stretch to me. I'd sooner give that to BLACKPINK. SNSD would be the Jordan Bulls of course. Maybe Twice could be the Showtime Lakers. Still a top 3 dynastic team, but many wouldn't rank them ahead of the Bulls or modern day Warriors dynasty.

That salty Once chose the wrong foreign player; it should've been Jokic instead of Luka, the guy who came out of nowhere to break every advanced statistical record in the game and dominate in ways we've never seen, running the Center position like a Point God and being able to do anything and everything on the court.

There are no modern day dynasties post the Warriors, so the team comparison doesn't work.

Yea not sure how an NBA discussion is occurring here but ill take it. Though as I think on it, there's is an insane amount of overlap between kpop stans and nba fans.

I chose the Warriors for Twice because that roster is more or less still active, unlike BP lol.

I can get behind Jokic as a comparsion, man is truly an anomaly.

Never said they were irrelevant, they just felt like an apt comparison for Twice. But lets be real here...the warriors didn't even make the playoffs this year and iirc they were eliminated the first round last year. I dont follow them enough to know if it was injuries or whatever, but like I said, they arent much of a threat anymore.

I dont think it'd be impossible for them to make another run, but I think its unlikely and their best years are behind them. They had their fun, but the league belongs to the new generation now.

I don't think thats fair to Luka, he rarely underperforms.

Although Twice are basically the Warriors at this point. Former champions that are still around and occassionally make some noise, but no one is really threatened by them anymore.

I started following kpop in 2018 and i really dont see much difference between the fandoms now and then, at least as far as toxicity is concerned.

Fandoms are simultaneously the best and worst part of being a kpop fan. On one hand, itd be no fun if i didnt have others to gush over my favs with. On the other hand, sometimes i dont even wanna look at comments because i know im gonna see a million people trying to ruin my enjoyment.

Forgot music, im not tied to any specific sounds and will listen to anything if i find it enjoyable, so i do like the way kpop seems to be becoming more experimental and branching out beyond girl crush or cute concept

But really id say touring is the only meaningful metric because you cant really make the same tired payola arguments for touring as much as the other options.
