There's a lot of fluctuation in my listening. Kpop is always in my playlist, but I go through obsessions where I just listen to the same artist for a month at a time. I'm currently in an Ethel Cain phase.

I don't think this is what you meant, but Kris Wu going to prison and what he went to prison for. I lost interest in kpop around 2019 and just picked it back up at the beginning of this year. Imagine my surprise seeing it casually mentioned in a comment somewhere a couple of weeks ago and then looking it up.

The choreo is a major part of what makes kpop so fun for me, but I guess it's not strictly necessary. I think it's more the status quo than it is a necessary part of the formula for success. That said, I want them to dance.

Couldn't be happier for Day6. It's been a long time coming.

For me, it's less a concern about the effect that being an idol might have on a minor and more a concern about the credibility and ethics of the companies/people they're training and debuting with. I just don't trust the industry to not exploit them.

Ugh wise queen. The longevity of OT9 is a credit to her and all of Twice.
