I love them. I think their music is always great and their personalities are so funny and endearing. I only discovered them in the last 10 months or so and it's been brutal watching some new drama come through every couple of weeks. They're not above critique, but I think they make good music, the members have great personalities, they're so accessible, and they clearly work very hard.
I also think their tangential relationship to the ongoing NewJeans saga has hurt them domestically, which I think is unfair.Edit: Also, the Coachella criticism was so overblown and annoying. Y'all will do anything for a weeklong hate train on twitter.

Completely off the mark on both Mamamoo and NewJeans
Mamamoo have the best team work in K-Pop. Anyone who knows the group knows that they never compete with each other on stage but instead perfectly balance each other out as vocalists and performers, and their harmonization is the best the industry has ever seen from any girl group.
The NewJeans ones is stupid because the girls exploded in popularity BEFORE any marketing occurred. Kind of hard to say that's the reason for their explosive popularity, when they had NO marketing prior to debut.
