Huge part of NewJeans streams are casual fans/listeners so it wouldn't really work. And we saw the huge season greetings sales a while ago where the fandom couldn't even stop themselves from gobbling that one up.

ADOR/HYBE wanted to replace them and kick them out on their terms, not them leaving on their own and damaging the company's reputation.

This is the reason why they didn't file a termination lawsuit so that they can continue with their activites/release music just not under NewJeans and not wait for the judges ruling.

It is the opposite with ADOR, they cannot ask the girls to comply for new activities and needs to wait for the judges ruling since they initiated the lawsuit.

Crazy how ADOR is suing NewJeans but didn't sue Source Music for the pre debut video and medical leaks nor did they sue DISPATCH. Protecting their artists my *ss.

ADOR/HYBE was really left with no choice, NewJeans contract must really be good. They can't really win an injunction to block the girls activities and they need to pay a huge amount of money to the court to even file for termination fees.

Quite a good move from them to verify if the contract is still valid in court. If they win, they can file further cases against the girls but if they lose,

future cases would be hard even impossible to win.

Either MHJ's shaman saw the future or she was really fair to the group with their contract.
