The public sentiment might not matter to the legal outcome, but I don't think Hybe can sit this out for two more months now. Kpop companies always have been allergic to any attacks on their image in Korea, and with this conflict bringing it to another level, a possible short term win against MHJ won't be in proportion compared to the long term damages it will cause for Hybe's reputation. Hybe might have thought they could strongarm MHJ to come back to the negotiation table and accept their demands by threatening her publicly with legal actions, but MHJ can similiarly use the media and public opinion to damage the reputation of the company and its artist to get Hybe to come back to the negotiation table and make them cave in to her demands. Hybe likely didn't expect her to be this effective at it.
Bang Pd just needs to step over his own ego to allow MHJ to be the winner in the public's eye. Withold from holding Ador's shareholder meeting in court, take back the police complaints, and renegotiate MHJ's contract on her terms but just add an extra clause that could prevent or penalize any management takeovers if Hybe's still scared about that. Allowing this to drag on isn't in anyones interest. Shareholders will start to complain that Hybe isn't acting in their best interest either at some point anymore, shareholders that include BTS. MHJ clearly cares about NewJeans so seeing them unable to interact with their fans as long as this continues, and suffer through this situation isn't what she wants either.
If it's needed just hold a press conference together where both sides can apologize for their past mistakes. Both sides kinda need each other to cooperate to completely clean up their images as well. It will give the public one more press conference they can enjoy as well lol.
I don't clearly understand this.
How on HYBE with 80% shares can't fire her?
I watch many K-drama,isn't the one with the majority shares can do whatever they like ?
