There was bit of hope with treasure but after the many departures it's not looking good at all for yg. If they lose blackpink, they are definetely heading in that direction. a mid tier company. There are still so many things to consider. With globalisation of kpop, its going to take another decade of failed groups for that to happen.

people are acting like this is isn't a big issue it's more than a page it's bigger than that, it's about about the smear campaign about other girl groups ( like malicious articles) including girl groups from the big 3 and other things we aren't aware off and kakao owns many subsidiaries and companies including melon ( who is sponsored of many music shows) also own daum aka pann .
daum and pann are different. They are not related. pann belongs to nate. But Daum is still influential nonetheless.

help me understand here. is newjeans, aespa and blackpink etc a threat to IU or to weekly or apink.
StayC? A new acquisition of high up ent completed just a few months ago is a high priority for Kakao?
When u narrow it down, it's easy to see the real intentions behind what kakao did. I'm sure it will be writted off as baseless rumours by them. But i don't trust melon anymore.

I can understand if it's a music show performance and award show performance which is available to watch to different kpop fandoms. They are open to criticism then.
But why are u people watching illegal clips of a group in their own concert singing to their own fans who paid hundreds of dollars and calling it a waste of money? Just ridiculous behaviour.

spotify getting popular in asia especially japan, sea and india. Also when I say asia that most of the local artists are popular in their country but not outside their country I mean if you see indian musical artists youtube views they out viewed almost everyone with one country alone but we cannot see them outside india. same with other countries too so it is not wrong to presume that taylor swift is biggest act in asia and also she is doing great other platforms too the only artists in asia who can do well overall in asia is bts and bp.
u were never comparing them to local artists were u? aren't u comparing her to bts and bp?

What are you even talking about lol. Imagine thinking anyone can be bigger than Taylor swift 😭😭 I wasn’t even thinking about kpop because I didn’t blv anyone could be that delusional. I was thinking about local acts in those countries.
